Entrepreneur Anna-Louise Gilhooley has joined the board of Scientiam, a leading Birkenhead-based provider of training and apprentice schemes.
Scientiam works in partnership with businesses to help them attract, train and develop staff to maximise their productivity and Anna-Louise is tasked with helping the company to put in place a strategy that will increase its private-sector business.
”Throughout my career I’ve been heavily involved in helping blue chip and SME businesses to address their HR issues,” said Anna-Louise.
”I’m joining Scientiam at an exciting time for the business as it looks to become less reliant on public sector contracts. There is a great team and a fantastic opportunity for us to expand in a number of areas.”
Having worked as a managment consultant for various SME and blue chip clients, Anna-Louise established a number of businesses including DivaLilly, a unique fashion brand that is making waves into the UK's highly competitive market.
Her second venture, Rejuvenate Group, is a Manchester-based organisation that provides a range of consultancy services to SMEs across the region.
It specialises in supporting companies with their growth strategies, advises on financial, marketing, human resources and management issues and helps independent firms that are preparing for sale or floatation.
