Leading Liverpool hair salon Voodou took to the streets last night as part of a mass zombie gathering.

The team raided their dressing up cupboards and transformed themselves into something truly spooktacular, before parading their way up and down Bold Street. Voodou were joined by over 50 people, who dressed up as their favourite ghost, ghoul or Halloween monster.

Voodou owner Rob Webb said: “We’re delighted with tonight’s turn-out, and it just shows the true sense of community spirit within the businesses of Bold Street.

"I also love how much effort everyone has been made to become a zombie from their costumes to their makeup and even props.

"It’s fair to say that we’ve definitely celebrated Hallowe’en in style.”

Ged Gibbons, Chief Executive of City Central BID, added: "Bold Street has a fantastic sense of community.

"This is largely down to the camaraderie between the traders as anyone who has been to the Bold Street Festival will testify.

"The team at Voodou are always full of ideas and this Halloween event taps into the street’s spirit in more ways than one!"
