Law Firm Hillyer McKeown LLP has announced that they are to strengthen their outfit with the acquisition of Wirral law firm D P Roberts Hughes and Denye.
The acquisition will see Hillyer McKeown offer their services from Hamilton Square, Birkenhead, in addition to their offices in Chester, Wrexham and Bebington.
Following 47 years of servicing the Wirral, D P Roberts Hughes and Denye will now trade as Hillyer McKeown Solicitors and will be able to provide their clients with a more diverse range of expertise including family, commercial, corporate and employment law.
Steve Harvey, partner at Hillyer McKeown, said: “We are pleased to announce the acquisition of D P Roberts Hughes and Denye. The acquisition is a milestone in the history of both firms and is a positive step to respond to the challenges that lie ahead for law firms as businesses.
“We believe that by acquiring such a long-standing local firm, it will position us to support our clients across the Wirral on a much larger scale.
“At Hillyer McKeown, we believe passionately in supporting the local community, which is why we’re already heavily involved in many Wirral initiatives and we’re looking forward to creating a greater presence for the Firm throughout the area.”
Ian Millington, director at D P Roberts Hughes and Denye, said: “Our commitment to client satisfaction remains central to our offering. The acquisition represents a positive step in enhancing the services we offer to our clients.
“Delivering the very best in legal services remains our number one priority and we’re delighted to be adopting the Hillyer McKeown name and ethos as we continue to maintain our reputation for excellent standards of service.”
