A leading Liverpool region refrigeration firm has launched a green energy division.
CB Transport Refrigeration Ltd is going green with the launch of its new renewable energy department.
CB Renewables is a one stop shop for all green energy services including Ground and Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal, Underfloor Heating, Rainwater Harvesting, Energy Saving Light Systems and Controls.
Already boasting an annual company turnover of £2million, Kevin Collins, managing director of Knowsley based family firm CB Transport Refrigeration, said they are proud to be launching the new division into one of the fastest growing industries in the world.
Mr Collins said: “Our business has built up a reputation synonymous with high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
"Since we started diversifying the business ten years ago, with our expertise in engineering and problem solving, green energy was a natural progression for us.
“CB Renewables engineers are fully MCS and BPEC qualified, with experience of working in both commercial and domestic properties.
"We can offer a turn-key solution to all your green energy needs. We are accredited to install a wide range of renewable energy systems that can make a massive difference to your carbon reduction and fuel cost savings.”
With increasing government pressure on the public and private sector to go green in a bid to meet its target of reducing carbon emissions by 34 per cent by 2020, more people are taking advantage of the benefits of green energy and financial incentive schemes such as the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Feed in Tariff (FIT).
Mr Collins said: “Prices of oil and gas are constantly rising, so now more than ever it makes sense to invest in renewable energy.
"Return on investment in some cases can be seen within 12 months depending on what system is in place and the energy saved can be measured immediately.”
Having invested £70,000 in the new division Mr Collins added: “We already working on installations across the UK and are in discussion over other great projects.
"One thing we are keen to offer is the ability to take on installations of all sizes – no job is too big or too small for CB Renewables and we will still ensure the same quality of delivery and customer service.”
