CheapAccounting.co.uk has been shortlisted for the Network of Aspiring Women Awards, which takes place later this year.

Selected from over 200 nominations, it is a worthy achievement and great news for Elaine Clark, Managing Director of Wirral based company.

Through its national network of qualified accountants, CheapAccounting.co.uk provides the essential accounting and tax support required for start up and small businesses.

By delivering accountancy services via innovative online systems at a cost effective price - affordable to most small businesses - the innovative on line accountancy firm supports the growth of entrepreneurship.

Awarded the title of Progressive Practice in 2010 in just four years, CheapAcccounting.co.uk has developed into a recognised national brand.

Client numbers have doubled in the last year alone and are set to more than double in the next year.

Elaine Clark said: “I was so stunned when the phone call came. It is super to have made the short list for this Award and I am honoured to be mentioned alongside business greats such as Barclays, Shell and BT.”

The Annual Awards, hosted by the Network of Aspiring Women, have been organised to celebrate the successes of women nationally.

The event, now in its third year, is all about helping women connect to do business together and inspire them to go higher in their chosen profession.

Jo Cameron, former BBC Apprentice and founder of the Network of Aspiring Women, said: “When people get together and share ideas it is easier to build momentum. It’s easier to keep going when the economic climate gets tough.

“But mostly the network is about sharing ideas amongst each other that can help businesses grow. These awards are about celebrating success and recognising those women who have not only succeeded themselves but are helping others too.”

The judging will take place in September, when the panel of leading businesswomen, including Dragon’s Den star Rachel Elnaugh, Secret Millionaire Gill Fielding and former rally driver and TV presenter Penny Mallory, join with other esteemed women to select the nine winners.

This year over 400 guests are expected to share in the energy of the event, being held on 30 September at Villa Park, Birmingham.
