Members of Fitness First Aintree had all the right moves when the cast of touring Broadway show Footloose – The Dance Musical dropped by to lead them in a special group exercise class.
The club, on Ormskirk Road in Aintree, held a special dance masterclass, with the cast members demonstrating some of the energetic dance sequences used in the hit show.
Footloose – The Dance Musical was appearing at the Liverpool Empire Theatre last week, and tells the story of a city boy, Ren, played by Max Milner, who has to move to a rural town in America where dancing is banned. But Ren is determined to bring dance back!
Keith McMurdo, general manager of Fitness First Aintree, said: “Fitness First is supporting the nationwide Footloose tour, and the masterclass was brilliant fun and really gave our members something to dance about.”
