Abode, a new breed of estate agent will open to the public in March after securing a 15 year lease on 2000 sq ft of space in 43–47 Liverpool Road, Crosby, the former home of the Crosby Herald Newspaper.
The business is operated by four directors and is a labour of love for the developers who have a property portfolio in excess of 10m. The opening of Abode Crosby adds to the company’s network of offices which started out as CF Letting in Widnes.
Chris Charlton Director of Abode Crosby said: “When you list a house for sale you want to be very certain that the agent will earn their fee, market the property and provide great customer focused service.
"Our team has been handpicked to ensure that they bring local knowledge and a real understanding of what buyers and sellers need from their estate agent.”
“We have purchased around 70 properties with Kevin Ross at BTR over the last 8 years; he understands that we need to move quickly. At Abode Crosby we want to bring our real understanding of what a buyer or landlord needs and offer an attention to detail unrivalled in this sector.
Kevin Ross, Partner of Brown Turner Ross who represented Abode Crosby in the deal said: “Abode has a really exciting business model, using technology to bring buyers and sellers closer.
"They are a little like poacher come gamekeeper; the experience that they have gained as property developers helps them fine tune their offer for today’s property market.
"We are very pleased that we secured this highly sought after high street unit for them in the heart of Crosby.”
