Liverpool auctioneers Venmore are celebrating a 12% boost in the city's auction market as their first lots of the new year go under the hammer next month.
A variety of lots, including residential, commercial, and many development opportunities for landlords and investors, from all over Merseyside will be available at the auction, which will be held at the Hilton Hotel, in Liverpool One on Wednesday 16th February.
Some of the properties going under the hammer include a beautifully converted one bedroomed Victorian flat on Sefton Park Road, a two bedroomed terrace in the popular student location of Wavertree, to a seven-bedroom corner property off Smithdown Road with a current income of nearly £20,000 p.a.
One of the commercial lots included in the auction is the former Probation Service building in the Westvale area of Kirby, with 3770sq.ft of mainly ground floor office space, in need of some refurbishment.
Nick Ball, Head of Venmore Auctions believes Liverpool’s auction boom is attracting an increasing amount of interest.

Another highlight will be the 12-bedroom development property on Anfield Road. The Victorian mansion has planning permission to use the property as a 12-bedroom hotel.
Mr Ball added: "Although the property is in need of refurbishment, it is of substantial size and in a excellent location.
"With its proximity to Liverpool Football Club, it would attract many of the football fans if ran as a Bed and Breakfast.
