For as long as I can remember (exactly how long I won’t admit) it’s a given that if you want shots in Liverpool, you head to Baa Bar.

The Concert Square establishment has long been a favourite haunt but Baa Bar’s newest venue at the top of Hardman Street (formerly Varsity/Symphony/Geisha) has everything you would expect from a Baa Bar and more.

Enhancing Baa Bar’s traditional bar-meets-club vibe there’s also a ‘Wokit’ Noodle Bar for patrons who may wish to avoid the rule “Eating’s cheating!” and choose their takeaway meal before they become lost in inebriation.

With separate seating from the bar, Wokit becomes a restaurant in its own right, serving up lunchtime and evening meals at affordable student prices.

Offering a wide variety of snacks including delicious Sweet Chili or Wasabi nuts - make sure you have a cool drink close to hand! Generous main meals are served in boxes so you can decide whether to eat in or takeaway. No set menu, you are free to mix and match your choice of noodles, ingredients and a combination of sauces to create your perfect dish. The Click Liverpool team headed down to satisfy our tastebuds. Try out a Spicy Chili and Teriyaki sauce combo but avoid the prawns (not enough served up was the resounding complaint)!

Bursting to the brim with noodles, you need head no further than the bar to enjoy a tasty liquid dessert in the form of over 40 different flavoured shooters at just £1 each.

And the bargain prices don’t stop there with £1.50 bottles available and £2.00 Bottle and Shooter offer (except after 8pm weekends). You can choose to spin the Wheel of Misfortune – buy 5 shooters and win the chance to spin the wheel - more free booze or spectacular prizes await!

When you’re ready to stick on your dancing shoes head upstairs to the clubroom with dance floor, brightly lit wall and its own bar - also available for free private bookings FREE of charge.

Baa Bar can deliver a night to remember for any occasion. Birthdays, Christmas parties, corporate events to university club and society balls or perhaps just a table or booth booking, the friendly staff will be on hand to make sure your party is perfect.
