As the evenings become lighter and full of spring vitality, the Albert Dock is bringing a new monthly event for Liverpool’s after work crowd, Dock Sessions launches on Wednesday April, 7.
Come along between 6pm and 8pm to enjoy Dock Sessions, a new monthly event at the Albert Dock. Expect a laidback, friendly evening and refresh your love for the Albert Dock.
Dock Sessions presents an opportunity to experience the Albert Dock like never before, visit all of the venues and absorb the warm, unique atmosphere, whilst receiving sample food and drink and experiencing a few surprises along the way.
The cafes and retailers will all be staying open late for the Dock Sessions, including Nosh, Wizzard and Liverpool Pictures. Express by Holiday Inn are offering 10 per cent off bar drinks throughout the evening and discounts for future conference bookings.
This is an open invitation to have a great time at the Albert Dock, courtesy of all the restaurants, bars, attractions and retailers, who will be offering something very special on the night, with sample food and drinks.
Dock Sessions is a monthly event, with a different theme each month commencing with the launch on Wednesday April, 7.
Dock Sessions in May will have a Picasso theme to celebrate the forthcoming exhibition at Tate Liverpool and Dock Sessions June will have a MAMMA MIA! theme, in ode to the performance at the Echo Arena.
Let the Albert Dock indulge your taste buds for the evening, with the very best samples of all of the Dock’s restaurants and bars. What’s Cooking will be giving away free mini burgers, mini beers and a specially crafted mini ‘Docktail’ for the ladies and, while over at PanAm and Blue Bar & Grill there will be free samples of the menu and cocktail tasters.
Gusto will have a selection of pizzas to sample, along with a ‘buy one get one free’ offer on cocktails. Vinea will be hosting free wine tastings and sampling of their menu, while Ha Ha Bar and Cantina will be giving free food samples and discounted cocktails.
We know that food and fun compliment each other perfectly, that is why Dock Sessions has some fantastic entertainment lined up, a juggler, a close magician and a fire artist will be rubbing shoulders with guests.
The famous BugWorld Experience has something crawling up their sleeve, bringing their attractions out of captivity to party for the first evening of Dock Sessions. Shiverpool have some frighteningly good plans for the evening, after all they scare because they care!
Famous Liverpool photographer Ron Davies will be at Dock Sessions, where he will be giving a talk entitled 'Another Place in Words and Pictures' this intimate gathering will be held between 6.30 and 7.30 pm.
