Juice FM puts the squeeze on rivals

107.6 Juice FM, the radio station for Liverpool, The Wirral and Merseyside has increased its audience on the same period last year according to the latest RAJAR results for Q1 2009 (January 5 – March 29) announced last week.

Weekly reach is UP 8.5% year on year to 154,000 adult listeners per week with ‘total hours’ listened per week UP from 861,000 to a 907,000 per week - an impressive leap of 5.3% year on year and a whopping 33.4% quarter-on-quarter.

In addition, 107.6 Juice FM listeners tuned in for an average of 5.9 hours a week, UP 37.2% on the last quarter.

Iain Fowler, 107.6 Juice FM, station director, said: “These are a fantastic set of figures for the station, proving that we’re in great shape and that our listeners just love what we’re doing. 33% increase quarter on quarter is phenomenal and our advertisers will certainly reap the rewards.”
