A rapidly expanding Southport-based company has admitted that it is struggling to fill vacancies as the firm grows.

Access Point Ltd is set for another year of growth in 2012 as it continues to work alongside some of the biggest retail chains in the country.

The firm specialises in providing marketing services to retailers but bosses at its Lord Street head offices are still finding it difficult to recruit as the number of jobseekers rise.

Managing Director David Robertshaw said: “We are holding recruitment workshops to attract new sales talent. We have a successful telesales team but the increasing workload and several major new client wins have seen us searching for new colleagues throughout the last quarter of 2011.

“We work with some of the leading UK retailers such as Sainsburys, Morrisons, Argos, Homebase, Wickes and IKEA. Our services include till roll reverse advertising and promotions for these big store chains and create access to their customers for smaller businesses in the community.

“We are now the market leader in these kinds of marketing promotions and our growth shows no sign of slowing. We’re puzzled as to why we haven’t had more interest from the sort of calibre of people who would make the most of the opportunities we’re offering here.”

The recruitment fair takes place on Saturday 28th January at The Ramada Hotel, Southport, from 9AM to 2 PM.
