A new sign is set to be constructed at Princes Dock in Liverpool City Centre.
The new totem-style construction will be based on the same design as those already located at the entrances to the Albert Dock and Kings Dock, bringing continuity across the popular waterfront attractions.
The sign will be nine metres tall with the name “Princes Dock” etched in white letters, complete with internal lights.
Due to be installed by December, it will be clearly visible from a number of directions along The Strand as well as to people heading towards the waterfront from the city centre.
Property Manager at Princes Dock Liza Marco said, “Princes Dock is an established business and leisure destination which forms an integral part of the city’s icon waterfront.
“Therefore it is fitting that there is a signage link between all of the major waterfront destinations.”
Princes Dock has undergone major redevelopment in the past few years and is part of the proposed £6 billion redevelopment scheme of Liverpool’s waterfront.
