Liverpool’s favourite bakers Sayers are celebrating Christmas with the help of 25 singing children at their brand new cafe in Williamson Square.

The new Williamson Square Cafe will be officially opening their doors on Wednesday 15th at 11.30 with the help of Managing Director Michael Quinlan and twenty-five school children from St Vincent De Paul’s school on Pitt Street.

The children will be singing popular Christmas songs and carols whilst the customers and passersby will be getting into the Christmas spirit and enjoying free mince pies.

Irene Boardman, Cafe Manager for Sayers in Williamson Square said: “Final preparations are well under way for the grand opening."

"The new café in Williamson Square will be one of Sayers new concept cafes, which is bigger, brighter and relaxing to dine in."

"As well as having more space it will have comfortable sofas making the whole experience enjoyable."

"We are very excited about offering a wide selection of quality bakery goods at great value and look forward to welcoming new customers to the café.”

Music teacher, Louise McVey from St Vincent De Paul’s Primary school added: “The children are all very excited about officially opening the cafe and have been practicing very hard for their public performance.”

Customers will be able to enjoy a wide section of meals from breakfasts, pasties to jacket potatoes and hot soup from freshly baked bread, sumptuous cream cakes and tasty pastries and fresh ground coffee.

Following its opening the new Sayers Café on 17/18 Williamson Square will be open:

* Monday to Friday – 8.00am -5.00pm
* Saturday – 8.00am to 5.30pm
* Sunday – 10.00am-4.00pm
