Liverpool employers and training providers are coming together to talk to young people aged 15-18 about opportunities available across Merseyside.

The event, hosted by employment and skills specialists Working Links, will provide personal advice on employment, skills training and benefits and will take place at Walton Sports Centre, Walton Hall Avenue, on Friday 24 September from 10am.

Terry Etim, the martial arts celebrity will be there along with Bob Croxton, ex-convict and chairman of Criminal Information Bureau, to talk to young people about their futures. Youngsters will also be able to take advantage of the free climbing wall and martial arts sessions running on the day. A football tournament will also take place in the afternoon.

Working Links has a superb track record of helping people back into work – the organisation recently celebrated helping 150,000 people back into work since its inception in 2000.
