Specialist home-interiors retailer, Elaine Cunningham opened new city centre Elaine Cunningham Home Store with a night of creativity and celebration.
Celebrations on the night saw the unveiling of a fabulous one off creation by Philip Armstrong. The amazing one off gown has been created as a centre piece for the window display using Andrew Martin home fabrics in stunning black and gold.
Nook and Willow, the bespoke handbag designers created a one off handbag using Andrew Martin fabrics which one lucky guest at the party will take away with them. Cup of Love Bakery provided lessons in cake decorating along side the representatives from Cole and Son, Andrew Martin and Romo Fabrics & Wallpaper.
Elaine Cunningham owner of Elaine Cunningham Home Store said: “We are so excited to have brought the Elaine Cunningham Home Store to the City Centre; our Aigburth store has been open for four years now and having expanded into the next shop we are in demand - our customers have been looking for more. The 2000 sq ft retail unit allows us access to a new market; it’s has been amazing to work with other designers using home interior fabrics and trends and translating them into amazing fashion pieces for the launch.”
The unit at 22 Chapel Street is next door to Elaine Cunningham’s first City Centre outlet, BoConcept, a Danish design store which has been well received since it launched in September 2009. Proving that despite a difficult trading period for most retailers, there is still an appetite in the North West for a quality, service-led offering. The Elaine Cunningham Home Store will compliment perfectly the existing BoConcept store.
Elaine added: “We pride ourselves on making people feel at home in our store. Having enjoyed a steady growth in our Aigburth showroom, our customers were demanding more of the amazing ranges we stock. And so, we decided to expand the Elaine Cunningham Interiors customer experience that little bit further – into the city centre with a brand new Home Store concept.
“I am so pleased that our customers want more and we are really very excited about the arrival of the Elaine Cunningham Home Store in Chapel Street. In the current market it’s about giving people what they want with a little creative flair as well as amazing service thrown in for good measure”
The Elaine Cunningham Home Store will provide a range of soft furnishings, fabrics, floor coverings and wallpapers from legendary brands such as Andrew martin, Cole & Son, Vivienne Westwood, Romo, Brian Yates, Osborne & Little, Sanderson and Harlequin to name just a few of the speciality interior ranges available in the store.
The expansion to the City Centre store, combined with the Aigburth Road showroom will allow Elaine Cunningham Home Store to offer the widest possible range of wallpaper, floor coverings, fabrics, soft furnishing and accessories as well as launching a much larger interior design service.
