New plans for Liverpool Waters have revealed that a multi-storey apartment block be included in its latest development.
Peel Land and Property (PLP) are preparing to begin work on their ‘Plaza 1821’ project as part of the proposed £21 million project for local firm The Regenda Group.
Over 100 one and two-bedroom apartments will be fitted into the 85,000 sq ft space, named after the Princes Dock opening on the same day as George IV’s 1821 coronation.
Regenda’s subsidiary Redwing Living will manage the site on William Jessop Way, which will also here will also be commercial space on the ground floor.
The development forms part of Peel’s wider £5 billion redevelopment of Liverpool Waters which will transform the city’s northern docks area.
Peel and Regenda are expecting to submit a planning application within several months and begin construction before the end of the calendar year.
News of the development comes just months after permission was granted on 34-storey and 30-storey towers which will also reside at Princes Dock.
